
SÃO PAULO — PremieRpet announced its continued participation in the European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition Congress (ESVCN), a non-profit organization aiming to advance veterinary nutrition through research, education and collaboration. This year, the company served as an event sponsor and submitted nine new scientific papers for oral and poster presentations. The event was held Sept. 4 to 9 in Leipzig, Germany.
PremieRpet has served as an official sponsor of the ESVCN Congress since 2019. At last year’s event, the company contributed 17 of the 85 papers presented, including 15 from its research and innovation center CEPEN Pet and two from its Nutritional Development Center (NDC). This year, the company returned with eight papers from its CEPEN Pet and one from its NDC.
Additionally, a PremieRpet-backed paper earned the award for Best Oral Presentation in the Feline category. The paper was presented by Pedro Marchi, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of São Paulo (USP), under the supervision of Thiago Vendramini, Ph.D., professor at USP.
In addition to its research submissions, the company also invests in veterinary nutrition through its Leaders Development Program to build partnerships with key leaders in the space. The company also hosted its Coffee & Science initiative, a series led by nutrition specialist Andressa Amaral for foster dialogue and collaboration with key leaders.
According to PremieRpet, these efforts advance its mission of advancing canine and feline nutrition through natural ingredients backed by scientific research, as well as its role as a leader in companion animal nutrition.
