MUMBAI, INDIA and SÃO PAULO — Global food color supplier ROHA Group announced its acquisition of Tebracc, a leading natural color manufacturer in Brazil. According to ROHA, the deal provides it with a robust supply chain and expands its global natural color capabilities.
Founded in 1988, Tebracc specializes in the extraction and production of natural food colors, with expertise in annatto, a red/orange natural colorant used in a variety of food products, including pet nutrition. According to Tebracc, it is known for its focus on quality, sustainability and strong partnerships.
Leveraging Tebracc’s expertise in annatto, ROHA will enhance its global portfolio of natural pigments. According to ROHA, demand for natural, plant-based ingredients continues to grow both from the food industry and consumers.

The deal will provide ROHA with raw material security for annatto and other pigments; increased production capacity in Brazil, a pivotal sourcing region; and diversified color offerings for its global food, beverage, nutraceutical and pet food customers.
